Hello everyone, my computer setup includes 4GB DDR2 RAM, an NVIDIA GT 710, another 4GB DDR2 RAM, an Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 at 2.93 GHz, a 500 GB HDD, and Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. I recently downloaded MGS 5 TPP about two months ago and finished the campaign, but I’m still engaged. Right now I’m playing the game with the lowest in-game settings (even resolution), where I get between 30 to 45 FPS on average, though sometimes it drops to 25 FPS or less. Someone can suggest a method to boost my performance by about 5 more frames with some external changes, without going through the complicated steps from the lowspecgamer YouTube channel—those settings would make the game look worse but could give extra 15 to 20 FPS. I just want a simple way to reach around 5 extra frames.

Despite your efforts to manipulate the system, this task demands significantly greater resources than your current setup allows. Any adjustments will need to be made internally, such as switching to a platform at least four generations ahead of the Core 2 Quad.

When you take everything to its simplest form during the game, that's all you'll achieve.

on the lowspec gamer channel, he was running an intel hd 4000 which was significantly slower than a gt 710. before any changes, his frame rate was between 10 to 15 fps, but after modifications it reached 20 to 30 fps. you can review the optimization guide on mgs 5 tpp on lowspecgamer for a few extra fps.

I mentioned not wanting to adhere to that guide, but I’ll discuss it to demonstrate my ability to proceed. By doing only a portion of the recommended steps, you’ll experience a reduced FPS improvement. Of course, lowering quality and resolution will affect visual quality, which is the necessary compromise for achieving higher FPS without hardware upgrades.

know how to adjust the game's resolution beyond what the game permits. I also resolved the FPS issue by tweaking settings in the NVIDIA control panel, which increased the frame rate by five points. To set a custom resolution, you need to follow the specific instructions for your game.
