Adding RAM help
You have an AMD B350 motherboard and are planning to add another 8GB of RAM. Your existing stick is 8GB DDR4 2400 MHz, so you’ll need a compatible upgrade. Check the specifications of your current RAM to ensure the new stick matches the speed (2400 MHz) and type (DDR4).
Two different sticks need matching timing and speed to operate at base frequency (2400mhz). For a Zen+ CPU, consider a higher frequency setup (3000hz).
Purchase the identical version you currently own—just for a polished appearance. If aesthetics aren’t important, @Downkey addressed your concerns.
