I've checked everywhere and keep finding the same steps—right-click speaker icon, play sounds, then go to sound settings. Some suggest adding an effect for folder access, others recommend selecting 'select' or closing windows. Then choose a sound. But I just want a consistent click every time I click anywhere, regardless of folder or file. Why has this turned into a project? The default sounds are terrible; I already have my own .wav file to use. It’s frustrating. Thanks.

I managed it. But the issue is clear—every click, not just folder navigation. For instance, clicking Chrome tabs or links doesn’t work. This is really confusing. Why does everything feel so complicated? Just one checkbox turning mouse clicks into sounds? That’s why it’s such a mess!
