Hi, I work at a small resort or company. My old IT guy set up a DHCP server using Kerio Control to connect three networks: the private LAN (LAN 0), the private guest network (LAN 1), and the guests' room network (LAN 2). The private internal network uses the address range 192.168.55.x with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0, and it has about 100 leased addresses. There is no problem here because very few devices connect to this part inside the resort.
The guest network uses the range 192.168.40.x with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0, but it constantly runs out of IP addresses even though we lease them for 24 hours only. This Guest Network is used by all employees and guests in the resort and restaurant. New people arriving at the hotel cannot connect to Wi-Fi because they keep getting an error saying "No IP Allocation" or that they can't get an address. I have to remove some unused IPs from my server before a new device can join. How do I add more IP addresses on this Guest Network? I read about something called subnetting and superscoping, but nobody explained it in simple terms. Thanks so much in advance - Tiago
