Hello, I need to move from the UK to an EU country and the power outlets are different. Do you have any advice on a specific plug adapter? I'm concerned about the power consumption since it's a gaming laptop, and I also heard that you can purchase the lead component from the power brick and plug it into a standard EU plug instead of using the UK plug. That would be better than buying an adapter.

I'm bringing two laptops, and if you need to share specs, please let me know.
The first one is a Legion 5: 4600h and GTX 1650.
The second one is a Legion 5i: i5 11400h and RTX 3060.

You juts need an UK adapter like this.
The laptop's power adapter is universal so you have nothing to worry.

IVT, sorry for going against your advice, but the adapter you suggested is meant for travelers to the UK.
Toast, except in Ireland, all EU regions use the same two-pronged plug, so you'll need something like this:
I got mine from Wilko for under £2.

I don’t face any particular issue with the adapter, but I think it would be better to swap out the cable for a cleaner setup.

Thank you for your responses, I discovered the real cable costs about £7, which is why I'll choose that over an adapter.
