It might fail because there isn’t a suitable solution available. If a product exists, it probably doesn’t meet your needs. You don’t need to rely on a regular RAM stick since the right one is designed for this purpose.

I mentioned a smaller size. It already had 16GB, I removed 4 plus 4GB.
