You have an EPYC 7551p with 32 cores, currently running as a Plex Server and NAS. Think about using it for heavy workloads like video editing, large-scale data processing, or virtualization. You could also explore AI training, scientific simulations, or running multiple virtual machines efficiently.

Keep things modular. You need to break it down into manageable parts to maintain its use as a NAS and support other tasks. I’m not sure the operating system is great for general multitasking—most NAS systems run tailored Linux versions, so you’d likely have to install your own distribution. With such many cores, running several virtual machines becomes more practical. The NAS and related functions can work together more smoothly.
