It hasn't been my experience, but Slime Rancher seems fun for young players. Minecraft Story mode might appeal to them. I hope Little Big Planet becomes available for PC. It sounds great for children.

Avoid mentioning PC, consider trying Harvest Moon.

It's tough to suggest a PC game for a 7-year-old. A Nintendo console would be ideal. There are thousands of kid-friendly games available. You could buy a used Wii and Mario Kart for around $40. Other choices might include Super Smash Bros Brawl, Wii Sports, Wii Play, Just Dance titles, and some Virtual Console Sonic games. These options are just a few examples. Most should be in Italian translations. Just change the language settings in the System Menu.

I actually have that issue—it’s a bit too tough for her. The game loses appeal if you fall behind early. I’m aware there are many other kid-friendly Wii games, but I was searching for PC options to compare what’s available. Dude

Do you think you'll be fine? Haha. I’d recommend Minecraft—the worlds are almost infinite and they really spark creativity in people.

Absolutely, you're right about the challenge. It's important to remember the level of difficulty. Certain games can be overwhelming for younger players. Just like with Harvest Moon, take your time and enjoy the experience.

Back then we enjoyed playing Scribblenauts together. The monkey island titles were also enjoyable. It was nice spending time with her solving those unusual missions. Plus, there were occasional Minecraft sessions as well.

Play Lego games like Scribblenauts on Nintendo Wii/Switch. Kirby and Yoshi titles are designed for kids.

There was a Spider-Man title that automatically simplified parts of the game for beginners. Some tough boss fights would be overwhelming for a young player, so having assistance made a big difference during testing. I haven’t owned it myself, so I’m unsure which specific game it was. I’m recalling older point-and-click titles. Games like Rescue Heroes and Tonka seem more suited to younger audiences. By around 7 years old, titles such as Halo and SCOM started appearing. More family-friendly options might be less engaging compared to the PS2 era. The current SSX Tricky games aren’t as enjoyable as those from the past. Edit: Banjo Cazoi in an emulator, a hat in time, conquer the squirrel, yooka laylie are all excellent kid-friendly choices.
