I bought a Gigabyte B365M-DS3H and an i3 8100 a few days back. I have an RTX 570 for the GPU and I need to turn on IGPU for Adobe Premiere. Unfortunately, when I enable it in BIOS, my motherboard won’t boot correctly and keeps restarting. After some fixes with CMOS and resetting the BIOS, it still doesn’t work. I managed to get it running after a few adjustments. I’m wondering if there’s a way to use the built-in GPU instead? I have two monitors in extended mode, all the ports are available, and I’m on F6C—no official support for that. My main display has G-Sync, so I want to keep the discrete GPU for gaming. Any suggestions?
Your GPU will take significantly longer to process graphics compared to the CPU.
It happens when your system runs on very slow hardware, like an iGPU compared to a real GPU. Your CPU relies on software, but it's much faster than the GPU. The issues you're seeing in Premiere are likely due to effects that only benefit certain GPUs, so encoding via the GPU isn't fully optimized for your setup.
Uses the dedicated Quicksync module for encoding and decoding, not the integrated GPU. Enabling the iGPU is required for this functionality.
