I tried turning on virtualization on my PC, which seemed fine at first. Then I opened File Explorer and only saw the SSD, not my hard drive. In BIOS there was no indication of the hard drive either. I attempted to run a disk scan in Disk Management but couldn’t find anything. When I physically checked, the hard drive spun up normally but wasn’t detected anywhere. I changed SATA ports, cables, and even replaced the original drive with a new 4TB one, yet my PC didn’t recognize it. If anyone knows how enabling AMD SVM affects hard drive detection, please share. My system specs are: Gigabyte B450 RTX 3080 Ti, Ryzen 5900X, 16GB RAM, 3200MHz DDR4, 850W PSU, MSI Gold PSU, 500GB M.2 SSD (boot), 2TB Toshiba hard drive, and a second 4TB Seagate IronWolf drive.

You didn’t trigger any unusual actions such as activating raid or opening a door, and the alternative SATA ports are enabled.

THE SYSTEM WAS COMPLETELY OVERWRITTEN! I performed a factory reset and then disabled RAID. It seems my drive now holds 6 terabytes of space.
