So I just completed this build https://pcpartpicker.com/list/wwyVgb . Im currently getting a red light that points towards the cpu being the problem for the no post. I've already tried resetting the cmos 3 times( don't know if im doing it correctly , im wedging my screwdriver in between the 1/2 pins for the JBAT connector.) and thats it. I also notice that my gpu fans aren't spinning, but theres no light correlating to the gpu, (could that be because of the cpu issues). Even though there's no light for the ram, could that be an issue? Do I need to remove the Cmoss battery completely? I'm just desperate, and need help as soon as possible. I just want my pc to work.
Even partpicker cautioned about bios, so most components are compatible with it.
You can refresh your profile with a 12th generation processor or view a YouTube tutorial on updating bios without a CPU. There are numerous options available.
You can find the installed BIOS version by opening the BIOS setup during boot and checking the system details, or by using manufacturer tools like Windows Device Manager or System Information.
