Activate TPM assistance feature
I've seen plenty of YouTube tutorials on this topic, but nothing seems to work. I've checked my CPU settings and scrolled through the instructions, but it's still not helping. My system runs an Intel i5 9400f with an American Megatrends P1 motherboard, version 7/26/2019. My ASRock motherboard is the same.
You're trying to turn on TPM for Windows 11 but haven't adjusted your BIOS settings. The option you're missing is likely hidden in the BIOS or UEFI settings, which might require checking specific tabs or menus. Watching videos hasn't helped—try looking for detailed guides on your exact BIOS model.
In the mu system, under baseboard version it displays B365M IB-R
Are you certain the board includes TPM? It's an OEM model with no readily available documentation. The design seems similar to the DS3H, which has a header but lacks an included module. It's unlikely you can activate TPM. Note: It does show a header for TPM 1, but you'd need the corresponding module. The version required is 2.0, not 1.0 as some prefer.
It's a newer topic, so an Intel PTT choice might exist, though it could be confusing. A BIOS that doesn't work with the CPU feels odd. Edit: Reports indicate the board is essentially an OEM version of the B350M Pro4, with the manual listing it under Security.
