I'm trying to activate the PC I just assembled, but it remains off. There are no lights and the cooling fans aren't running. My concern is about the power button and case fans. The manufacturer connected the fans directly to the power supply, not through a hub, and confirmed they activate when the button is pressed. Does the button send a signal straight to the motherboard, or does it trigger a feedback loop where the button causes the PSU to start and then the fans? If the latter, could the issue lie with the motherboard rather than the case?

It seems the situation isn't as complicated as it appears. 12V isn't present when the PC is off; it becomes available once you press the power button, which then powers the fan hub and spins the fans. If your PC doesn't turn on, verify that the power button connects correctly to the right pins on the motherboard. Check the front panel headers for markings like PWR, or refer to the motherboard manual. If everything is set up properly, try disabling the power button temporarily (possibly faulty) and briefly connect the power switch pins on the front panel connector using a screwdriver.

I actually need to do this. The issue is the case is too small for my hand to reach, and I also lack a clear view, though I've checked many times before trying it. What's happening is that the PSU and motherboard are good quality, unlike the case, so I think the problem lies with the panel itself. Perhaps I should first verify the PSU, then inspect the front panel if possible, and finally test the bridging pins.
