Your computer switches to power-saving mode unexpectedly, even though you've set the options to "Never." Try checking if other applications or settings might be affecting it.

You could have a built-in power-saving program already installed on your computer.

Luffy? I'm using a custom setup, but I don't rely on standard software. What about your system?

It might be Autoit3.exe, could be a virus.

My laptop switches to power-saving mode instantly when the charger disconnects and returns to high performance once it's plugged back in due to ASUS software named Power4Gear Hybrid. Turning it off halts this automatic adjustment. It seems a program is altering the power settings.

It's not a laptop, it's just a PC. I made sure no extra programs are running by default, and I'm not sure if this issue will come back.

Is this the first time? Maybe try using CCleaner. Also, consider using its registry cleaner or fixer. I think the two main issues are: 1) There might be a setting that’s triggering the problem and you haven’t found it yet. 2) Your system registries could be causing it, often due to malware.
