Hi! You're using Manjaro GNOME and want to enhance swipe gestures like 4-finger side swipes for better window pinning. It seems touche isn't fully functional yet—some gestures map correctly but don't behave as expected. Have you tried checking the system settings or updating your desktop environment? Also, look into third-party tools or custom scripts that might help extend gesture support. If you're open to alternatives, GNOME's built-in features are improving, and there are plugins available for more control.

After extensive investigation, it becomes clear that many such programs clash with Wayland, an alternative to X that KDE and GNOME support. Don’t bother asking for the details.

You can continue using GNOME and KDE with Xorg rather than Wayland. Search for options like "KDE Xorg on Manjaro." In short, GNOME and Wayland are software layers managing the graphical interface on Linux, while Xorg is an older but stable display server. Wayland is newer with improved features but has many issues that make it hard to use.
