I am using the newest Adobe Acrobat Pro through Creative Cloud. The latest files are set to setting 0 and they don’t show up on the main screen when I open Acrobat first. However, in the left sidebar under “Other File Storage > Your Computer” there is a folder list of my recent PDFs. This is unwanted because these folders often get moved, deleted, or aren’t needed to stay pinned. What options are available to stop this?

Just as a thought (without Adobe Acrobat Pro):
Verify "Add file storage" – you might be able to modify or remove those storage spots.
Options shown through "Browse"?
Probably that Adobe will show any set up or previously selected file location.
