I was dealing with similar problems by attempting to install Ubuntu. When trying to start UBUNTU without safe mode, I encountered [ 0.295812] ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Could not resolve symbol [_SB.PCI0.GPP7.UP00.DP40.UP00.DP68], AE_NOT_FOUND (20221020/dswload2-162). Anyone have a fix for this? From what I understand, only a few others seem to be facing the same issue online.

I'm running Ubuntu version X.Y.Z on a system with hardware model ABC. The issue seems to stem from an unrecognized device, possibly because of missing firmware or drivers.
