I took part in the project stream until the system stopped, and I'm certain they mentioned that a code would be emailed to me so I could continue playing the game for free, as long as I needed. I was curious whether they hadn't sent the codes yet or if I missed something. I really wanted to be able to play the game.
I haven't received mine either, and all customer support mentions it will ship after January 15, 2019. That date might vary.
I believed it was a few weeks later, but now I'm growing concerned that they might not send you a code. Why would they? I couldn't locate the email they sent, so maybe I erased it or I missed the details elsewhere.
They disabled it on that day to stop playing, and I managed a few hours before then, so I might get the code if my understanding is right.
