I recently assembled a new PC featuring an R9 5900x, watercooled heatsink, 2070 SUPER, 2x16GB 3200MHz RAM, a 1000W gold PSU. Performance in GTAV is between 50-60 FPS with the CPU at 30% load and GPU at 10%. Other games run smoothly and temperatures remain stable.

It seems your monitor is displaying VSync. Would you like tips to adjust it for smoother gaming?

SMT is active on the CPU in GTA 5. The engine behaves differently when it's turned on.
