Achieve the smallest delay with the Hyper X Fury kit.
I’m planning to install the 3733 CL17 kit from Hyper X, specifically the Fury variant. I’m curious about the minimum latency this RAM can achieve at 3733 MHz. I’ll be pairing it with a B450 Tomahawk Max and a TX650 power supply, running a Ryzen 5 3600 at 4.1/4.2 GHz.
When comparing Jedec to XMP, focus on the improvements and stability milestones. Then assess the FPS increase, which should be quantifiable. I’d likely test the 3733mhz at CL16.
Select the timing options menu. Latency is the initial setting in the list. Switch it from automatic to a specific number. Yes, you can turn on XMP and adjust the timing afterward.
This requires adjustments and testing. Overclocking isn't guaranteed.
