Acer Swift 3 with overclocking setup using ASUS Tweak II
You're asking if ASUS GPU Tweak II is still active despite not being visible in your system tools. It sounds like the software might be running in the background and affecting performance based on temperature. You're concerned it's keeping your GPU at higher speeds than intended when it should slow down in hot conditions. You want to revert to factory settings without removing the software, so you can still overclock when needed but safely. That makes sense—checking for hidden processes or using Task Manager’s "Performance" tab might help confirm what's running. If you need guidance on how to disable or adjust GPU Tweak, just let me know!
Don't go for it, this card isn't worth the effort to overclock. You might only see around 5% improvement at most.
It's accurate. I don't primarily seek higher FPS; I already have sufficient performance. My main concern is the limited mouse input response time. From a troubleshooting standpoint, it doesn't appear to be related to the mouse or input device—overclocking resolves the issue and improves responsiveness during mouse actions. Appreciate your feedback.
I located what I needed. It wasn't listed in the task manager, but it was among the services scheduled to run automatically. I halted it and everything is back to normal now. If anyone has similar stories, I'm happy to hear them. Thanks.
