your setup includes the Acer Nitro 5 A515 43 with an AMD Ryzen 5 3550h and GTX1650, originally equipped with 8 GB RAM. After experiencing significant frame drops in games like GTA V, you upgraded to an A-DATA 8 GB 2666MHZ XPG (SLOT-2). This change should help stabilize performance, but the different CL might cause minor adjustments. It’s likely a good match, though you may notice slight changes in speed.

Your current RAM speed is already noticeably impacting performance. The change isn't drastic, but it's enough to be noticeable. Attempting to tweak RAM frequency and settings in a laptop isn't worth the hassle.

Does the pair exceed or fall short in performance (in gaming FPS) when compared with the same memory and the existing one (SLOT 1), even a slight difference? I can swap this for A-DATA/CRUCIAL 2666mhz CL17-18-19-20 (CPU thing).
