Hello, was just wondering if some other users could let me in on their experience with overclocking laptop graphics chips and if it is safe/recommendable for better performance? I am aware about increased temps, but i have not touched voltage and power limit, and i stay below 75 degrees c; am i safe/not decreasing lifespan? New laptop, {i know it's low budget but it fits my needs)
o
Quick Edit, Gpu temps are always under 70c; if i am playing older games like Fallout new vegas, and the gpu is not overheating, then is it an issue? Overlock is: +135mhz core clock and +1000mhz memory no artifacts

They aren't made for overclocking due to insufficient cooling. You could manage without raising the voltage.

However, the GPU temperature remains within acceptable ranges even after overclocking, not affecting the performance of the games I've played. Are there risks from adjusting only the clock and memory speeds in the MSI Afterburner, assuming no other changes are made? If so, would that pose any danger?
