Hey, some time back I removed my GOG launcher while having Witcher 3 installed. Before that, I had moved it to another drive—I was planning to add an SSD. When I tried to launch the game, my saves were still there. But after switching to the new SSD, I lost them. I thought installing the GOG launcher again would fix it, since they probably had backup files. But I wasn’t foolish—I still kept my old Witcher 3 folder, just in case the new setup didn’t work.

It seems you're not saving your progress in the usual place. Most titles store saves in a specific location like C:\Users\username\My Documents. Even if you relocate the game files, they still look for those original folders. It's possible the SSD replaced your old hard drive, which caused the loss of saves. However, if you still have the previous drive, the files remain accessible.
