Consider exposing the issue by alerting someone who opposes EA—or share your concerns with EA’s support team. Think about creating fresh accounts; are they vulnerable right away like others? Also, check malwarebytes for potential threats.

The sole active app is Authy, but there’s no 2FA link connected to it from Origin.

Support responses have been unhelpful. They usually reset your password and delete the current 2FA + recovery keys. Then I repeat the setup process, and that’s it. I’m not sure if they permanently compromised my account, but I’m confused about how they share my randomly generated 20-character passwords with their friends. Also, their accounts seem to have no games—just empty ones. What’s going on?

My secondary source remains intact, frequently recorded from my PC. Malwarebytes shows no activity as expected. I’ve reviewed network traffic and found no unusual connections.

The concept of a verified authentication method matches your experience of missing 2FA notifications. It’s puzzling why their accounts remain active despite this. You’ve already captured the relevant messages and shared them with support, providing clear evidence. They should be able to verify connection details and restrict access from Origin. It seems unlikely they intend to invest in such a platform unless they alter their information, like using a VPN.

Everyone has been mentioned before, and so far four contacts have been removed from my friends list. It seems these are no longer there. This isn’t the first time I’ve handled this. The most confusing aspect of 2FA is that I only permit email verification—no other methods are supported. I made sure it wouldn’t allow setup on anything else, including a six-month time limit, but this issue resurfaced even after about a month since the last attempt.

It seems related to the Origin platform, as I've faced similar issues with account compromise and bypassing 2FA. It's not a major concern yet, but I haven't had many problems since resetting my password to a random email address. Would it be better to reach out to support or set up a completely new account?
