I attempted to adjust my TPM settings in the BIOS since certain games required TPM 2.0. I mistakenly cleared the TPM and now, when logging into my PC, it shows my PIN isn’t configured and I can’t set a new one. It seems like a single click might have caused the issue.

If TPM was reinitialized and you're logged in with a Microsoft account that has a PIN, you'll need to reset that PIN. If the instructions on the sign-in screen aren't helping, try using your password instead. Enter your Microsoft account password and then reset the PIN in Windows. If you've forgotten your password, you can update it on Microsoft.com and attempt the reset again on the computer. If that fails, you may need a password removal tool to delete the password from the device, which can be costly and requires another computer and a flash drive.

The issue is the computer doesn’t let me input the pin; it keeps saying “set Pin” repeatedly. IMG_0315.MOV indicates security settings have changed, making the pin unavailable, and attempting to set a different one doesn’t help.

Consider resetting CMOS and attempting again. If not, the issue suggests a deeper problem. The password must be fully erased using a specific tool or you’ll have to reinstall Windows.

You need a different password set for Windows. It’s unlikely you can use a simple "pin" without a valid regular password. This would require a Microsoft or local account password you previously created. I recently removed my TPM during a dual-boot setup with Linux and had to log in using the password I remember. The "pin" and other login options aren’t functioning properly.
