When adding drivers via the "Device Manager" in Windows 7 or 10, you can choose to include subfolders when setting the driver location. The "Device Manager" in Windows XP doesn’t offer this feature, so you must enter each folder path individually. All drivers are installed, but I’d like an external tool or method to consider subfolders if I later format the disk or buy a device missing drivers. In the "system registry" of Windows XP, there’s no option to add a registry hive path; you have to expand everything manually.
