I've just set up a TP Link TL-WA901N Access Point to fix the WiFi coverage in my home. The connection speed is excellent, SpeedTest indicates minimal latency and better performance. But browsing websites has become slower lately. They often take around 10 seconds to load (or fail completely with errors like "Couldn't be reached" or "Refused to connect" in Chrome). Sometimes a warning appears briefly before the site finally loads, then it opens almost instantly afterward. After opening a site, interacting with other elements feels extremely quick, only the initial connection is sluggish. What might be causing this? I've tried various sites known for strong hosting—Amazon, YouTube (initial load slow but then smooth), and Facebook—which didn't open at all ("www.facebook.com refused to connect").

Discarding the Facebook section, the setup was a wireless repeater. A wire was run to the router and it was configured as an AP.

This app has been running slowly today, likely because of my work Wi-Fi connection. It’s odd that something is slowing things down and making websites take longer to load. I’m currently testing games, and while logging in is slower now, it feels much quicker once I’m connected.

I installed a Cat5e UTP Cable from the Router to the Access Point. The operation mode was configured as Access Point. Using Wireless Repeater Mode didn't improve performance. The channel was set to 6, and all other settings defaulted back to Stock or Auto since none of my adjustments helped.

The problem appears to be fixing by itself. The updated equipment likely only required a brief "warm-up." Sites are loading quickly now.
