Access your Linux machine from an iPad using Remote Desktop software.
Hello everyone. I'm working on a Linux machine for my machine learning projects. At the moment, I can't afford a new laptop, but I have an iPad Pro with a magic keyboard. This shows where I'm headed. I've tried using TeamViewer, but it shows as my PC monitor—ultrawide with black bars and everything looks small, making it hard to use. I also attempted VNC via some tutorials, but it didn't work. Do you have any advice on this? Thanks.
Maybe freenx is an option. Apparently it has an IOS client https://www.nomachine.com/getting-starte...ne-for-ios
Are you sure you require the full desktop environment? A connection via SSH plus a Jupyter server on your desktop could suffice.
I use this method consistently with this configuration. Just set up an RDP daemon. The help page for XRDP explains the process, which usually takes around 30 seconds. After that, you can run Microsoft’s RD Client app on your iPad, and RDP is now available.
Desk anyDesk functions excellently for me and supports every platform. It's also accessible without cost for individual purposes.
