Sudo isn't available. See the tutorial for fixing it on Ubuntu or Debian.

The interface should display the correct permissions after installing sudo. The blank page usually means there’s an issue with the configuration or permissions.

It set up the sudo command but the error persists. The guide you were shown suggested adding yourself to the sudo list, though you don’t need it for the program you’re trying to install. You just need to download and run the file directly without using sudo.
