I was attempting to access my boot device via BIOS. Checking the motherboard manual suggested using the Delete key to enter BIOS, which worked when pressed repeatedly. I also tried using CMD commands to shut down and restart from BIOS, but those methods failed. The system boots normally into Windows, so I’m wondering if there’s another way to reach the boot menu.

Did you attempt to use the BIOS through the recovery options? You can reach this by pressing the restart button. From there, you can input your BIOS and search for instructions on how to access the Windows recovery menu via Google.

Disconnect the power cable or turn off the PSU. It won’t harm your device. When the system is off, connect the two pins for about 10 seconds.

Remove the power cord and let the device run for 20 to 30 minutes. Then attempt to restart it; occasionally it resolves the issue by simply waiting.

I tried disconnecting the hard drive with the operating system and then powering up the computer to boot into BIOS. It hasn’t worked yet after about a minute.

Windows 11 is installed or Windows 10 remains active. The system typically powers on with a problem, lacking a registered boot partition or the drive not functioning properly. Once disconnected, you may attempt a BIOS reset to regain access.

Windows 11 – I’m not sure why the boot drive is having problems, even though I can start Windows normally. I also swapped out my SSD during a second try, so now I’m booting without any storage. If that doesn’t help, I’ll try clearing the CMOS and see if it fixes things.
