Hello, I configured the Edimax br-6428ns as an Access Point using the ISP router at 10.0.0.10 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0. I set its IP to 10.0.0.200 and turned off DHCP. When connecting through a switch linked to the ISP router, it didn’t work—signal strong but no internet access. Connecting directly via cable to the ISP router resolved the issue, allowing me to view the WiFi MSFT Paint illustration. The switch functioned properly, which explains why the connection worked. Why?

The DHCP pool range isn't specified, and the EdiMax AP port used for uplink isn't mentioned in the provided details.

I want to verify if disabling DHCP might be the cause. I unintentionally turned it off when using these older routers as switches, but I’m not sure if that was necessary. Also, one of the yellow ports (not WAN) seems to be affected.

I didn't think it was incorrect. I'm just confirming it was handled on EdiMax, not the ISP router. Seems you followed the AP mode setup steps from page 12-15 and applied static IP details. The IP address is 10.0.0.200 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0. The default gateway is 10.0.0.10. You won't need to manually disable the DHCP server since AP mode does that automatically.

I didn't adhere to the guidelines since I perceived them differently, but the interface appears entirely distinct. The current UI doesn't align with what you expect.

This device was either provided by an ISP or purchased independently. Which model of the BR-6428nS do you own? What firmware version is installed on your BR06428nS? If your router runs outdated firmware, an update may be available to enable AP mode functionality. A screenshot of the interface showing the settings changes from your initial post would be helpful.
