I’m looking for ways to enjoy gaming on your laptop despite the distance. Streaming games from your home PC could work if you can join the same network remotely. Check if your router supports remote access or VPN connections, which might let you sync with your local setup. Also, see if your home PC has a stable internet connection and consider using a wired link for better performance.

There are many options available. The top choice is using a VPN. But I’ll let you know—unless you’re enjoying games where lag isn’t an issue, the connection won’t be strong enough for a smooth experience.

Gaming on my laptop isn't very enjoyable, which means it's not a big deal since I'm accustomed to low-quality gameplay.

I don't understand the want to play video games when going away on a holiday..... As for a solution though....you'd probably be best using Hamachi + Steam InHome Streaming. You'll need a decent upload though of at least a few Mbit, and you'll want to keep it under ~100ms or it could get pretty laggy

I’d check out SoftEther VPN. There are many YouTube tutorials explaining how to configure it, covering both server and client setups. When it comes to streaming games, I’m still unsure which method works best, and I’m not very experienced with it.
