Good morning everyone. When AC4 was released, I didn't play it because my setup wasn't suitable for ultra 60fps and I didn't want to use a PS3. I recently upgraded to a solid rig with a GTX 970 and an i5 4690k, which should handle the game smoothly at most settings. However, in Nassau there are areas where the frame rate drops to around 30-40 and the game stutters. Is there a way to fix that?

Your initial build isn't great, but it looks really good. Second, it might be related to the drivers. If the issue isn't with the drivers, try adjusting your settings.

That's unusual, I see I'm getting 50-60 fps with a 280x resolution.

My result is between 30 and 50 on a 260x, which seems unusual.

Haha, that's fine. I managed to do well most of the time, except for Nassau and a small island near Havana. Quirky!
