I just installed patch 1.4, but it took me around 49 hours at roughly 50KB/s. Now the game crashes when I click "continue" in the menu. I searched online, but most results only mentioned other players reporting the same issue and suggested a different patch (1.04) as a fix. If anyone knows how to resolve this, please let me know—I really want to play this game despite Ubi's issues. My setup uses an Intel CPU and AMD GPU, and it’s my preferred rig. Also, I updated with a solution later.
I spent many hours searching online and talking with a tech support representative from EA to check the game's file integrity. Once I got the chance, I ran a check and it asked for a 48MB download. After that, the game started working properly. Here’s how to do it: 1. Open Uplay and go to the ACU page. 2. Click the small arrow next to "Play". 3.
