Just set up Assassin's Creed Origins on my usual three monitors with dual 1080p and 6850k. At full settings, I’m getting around 9fps regardless of load or CPU usage. Is this the most optimized version available, or is there another way to improve performance? Anyone have tips?
Have you explored using just one monitor? It seems the monitors are connected via the 1080 port, not MB or anything else. Are you sure GeForce Experience is installed and all drivers are up to date? You can also open the Nvidia control panel and try forcing the game to use GTX instead of the built-in GPU. Also, since the game doesn’t support Crossfire or SLI, it will only run on a single GPU.
I lack built-in graphics. I can handle any other demanding game at more than 100fps. I received a refund from Steam; 9fps isn’t helpful.
Turning off SLI reduces performance, so the game might run smoothly at about 35-45 frames per second across three monitors. ACO tends to be the most demanding graphics setting currently.
