So I'm not super familiar with PC parts but I stumbled on something confusing. Here are the details: I have an MSI 77a G45 with 28GB RAM, a Hyper X I7 3770K water cooled CPU, and a 700W PSU. The motherboard has an OC Genie 2, but I can't seem to reset it properly. Sometimes the system boots normally, then freezes, restarts, and keeps looping. Fans spin briefly before shutting down. I've tried cleaning the CMOS, changing jumper settings, and even swapping the CPU, but nothing works. The board seems to be trying different configurations, yet I'm stuck. I don't have an OC button or jumpers on the motherboard. I've stripped it down to just one RAM stick and power, but nothing changes. I remember an older model worked before me, but I couldn't figure it out either. I'm hoping someone can help me figure this out.
