If you're considering the latest specifications, then an i7-930 is a good choice. This could be worth watching; Watch: https://youtu.be/Ew4A5fYyKv4 You previously had a discussion; Question - Does Phenom 1055T fit well with Gigabyte 880GM-D2H rev 1.4? Would the Phenom 1055T function properly on my board? forums. What brings you to the Phenom 1055? What scenarios are you aiming to test with the system?

I still have a few functional Phenom II X4 965 systems, but I didn’t upgrade to 6-core CPUs.
They’re useful for running Windows XP with Silverfast software on an old Nikon film scanner using an Adaptec Ultra320 SCSI card.
Once XP was installed, Nikon stopped providing drivers for newer operating systems like Windows 7 64-bit, making it difficult to locate SCSI card drivers in Windows 10/11.
I continue to use XP with the USB Nikon LS 5000ED and SF-210 slide feeder, then move the NEF RAW files to my 7950X for editing.
Sometimes an older PC is still worth keeping.
