I noticed a discussion about using four RAM sticks in dual-channel mode. It’s possible to achieve this setup. After installing your B450 gaming pro carbon AC motherboard with a Ryzen 3700X chip, you’ll need to adjust your system settings to enable dual-channel operation. No major hardware changes are required, but you’ll need to configure your BIOS or BIOS settings accordingly.

2 sticks per memory channel, no software setup required since it's limited by memory traces and you can't influence that.

Yes, there are two main channels by default in the MB. The first and third slots are one channel, while the second and fourth slots are the other.

First channel holds slots 1 and 2, second channel occupies slots 3 and 4. This pattern explains the higher usage of slot 2 and 4.

Two sticks per channel offer the same bandwidth as two sticks, but with extra capacity. The 3700x only supports two memory channels—no options to change that.
