Hi all!
Today Asrock have released a new BIOS version and if you update it, like I did, you are now allowed to set manually the MHz and voltage of CPU.
(In oc tweaker settings is allowed: Auto with AMD CBS or Custom)
Has anyone tried to OC this CPU with this mobo? (I know it was not allowed)
or better....
How can I do it with Asrock UEFI?
Also, is it better to modify p-states settings in AMD CBS Zen settings or something else?
I followed some Italian guides (in the original language) for a normal OC and also tried with AMD Ryzen master but after the os restart nothing is changed (same original MHz + voltage).

I don't have knowledge of an 'A' chipset having OC capabilities. It seems the idea that this function became available with the 'B' chipset might be a misunderstanding.

Using the A320 chipset, the only adjustment possible is to increase memory speed.

With the A320 Chipset, the only adjustment you can make is the memory speed.
Have you noticed the new update I was talking about? Probably not...

punkncat:
I don’t know how an 'A' chipset could be overclocked. I thought this feature wasn’t unlocked until the 'B' chipset.
I updated the BIOS via the ASRock support site and realized the A320 chipset (which I bought) wasn’t being able to OC either.
Before the latest update, the CPU OS settings weren’t available. I’m confused but I want to check if they made a mistake or if it’s actually possible now.
