CPU model: Ryzen 5700G
Memory: 2x8GB (2133 CL17) with overclock potential up to 3600 CL16
Compatibility questions: A320 or B350?
Price note: 50% lower than similar boards in my country.
Appreciate the help!

I don’t have solid proof linking the chipset directly to maximum RAM speed. However, they claim varying supported RAM speeds for the same chipset, which can be confusing.

I'm focusing on the other aspect, not the RAM. The RAM isn't important when the CPU isn't compatible.

Occasionally certain motherboards can't handle the full speed of memory. I'm not sure about the chipset itself, but you should still be able to run the memory at a reduced rate. However, it's important to check which CPU your motherboard supports—some chipsets might only work with newer BIOS versions and may not be compatible. You'll likely need to update the BIOS, as these chipsets probably aren't built for Ryzen 5000 processors right out of the box.
