Hello! I was trying to boost the performance of my A10-7850K for streaming, though it’s not the best processor for that task. This step feels like a really bad idea, but since the CPU is cheap and I’m already running it at 4000mhz with Prime95, I’m checking if the temperatures are still within safe limits. After about 14 minutes, I see temperatures between 90-93°C under the package in HWMonitor. I started with a very aggressive setting, and if my data is accurate, it’s just above the recommended safe range. Is that correct? What’s the actual safe limit? P.S. I was also streaming OBS beforehand to test it further.

Based on my observations, a CPU can endure temperatures exceeding 100 degrees C, though staying at 90 degrees is a safer option. If you aim to overclock inexpensively, a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO would likely suffice.

Based on my experience, a CPU can handle temperatures above 100 degrees C, but staying around 90 is safer. If you're looking to overclock cheaply, a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO would work well. Thanks for the tip—I'm about to go live soon, so I can't wait much longer. I also plan to build a new PC and prefer ordering it rather than using an old cooler. I've heard good things about the Cryorig H7, so I might choose that instead.
