I really believe T-Mobile Tuesday is a total waste of time. If the new internet service works out, I’m switching to Metrocards since I can get free Amazon Prime with their plan. It would be better than T-Mobile Tuesday because the app offers random perks, and I don’t actually use anything meaningful from it.

Lol, your question seems clear on its own. No wireless is ever better than wired. You switch to wireless only when forced, and life becomes hard.

It all comes down to how terrible the wiring is. We had a problem in Minneapolis where the local cable company is really struggling, not because the service itself is bad, but because of their overall performance.

I mean something extremely poor or terrible, depending on the context. The exact meaning can vary widely based on how we interpret it.

Fantastically expensive generally. Poor and variable bandwidth, lost service, abusive practices, etc.. it is possible for a company to provide much poorer product than they are actually capable of doing just because they are a monopoly. Should they be a poorer provider? No. Wired has the capacity to be far far batter than wireless. It doesn’t always happen that way though. it can even be pretty extreme. The city I live in has areas that are served by only on internet carrier and parts that aren’t. The difference is so vast that home prices jump 20% just for being in a competitive area. I got a friend who lives a block away from the competitive zone and watches the proposed build out like a hawk. He’s been awaiting the day for competitive internet to move to his block for like 3 years now.

It depends on what actually occurs, even though technically there’s a difference. No justification exists for why it wouldn’t work. The key factor is the final outcome and its cost.

I achieve 25 Mbps even when the connection is weak on my phone. AT&T offers only up to 18 Mbps via DSL in our region. That’s surprising... wireless usually outperforms DSL in many situations. Additionally, cable internet speeds differ depending on the provider and location. Many major companies acquired smaller ones in the past, so performance varies by area. In certain cases, some providers don’t offer reliable service at all. For instance, I have consistent service from Comcast, but others may not deliver the same level. This is because most ISPs operate each region independently, which affects reliability.
