Generally, it was a shared expression of relief. If Cali had experienced things as severe as they anticipated, the situation would have been very different. Fortunately, you all didn’t end up in that scenario. However, it seems they haven’t had much opportunity to inspect the canals, sewers, and other underground areas where many homeless people reside or gather. Those spots probably got flooded even if the surface conditions weren’t extreme.

But I connected the power cable to the back, the switch is on, connections seem fine, yet this part still won’t activate (ends up disassembling and reassembling it twice). Oh, well, that might help if the power cable is fully inserted into the socket.

I rebuilt a boat motor carb once since it wouldn't start. I reinstalled it, but it kept not starting—about six hours passed before the gas valve stopped working.
