CS2 doesn't really require a top CPU unless you're among the elite players needing 600FPS and not willing to sacrifice 480FPS. Your focus is more on productivity, so opt for a 7950X or 7900X—avoid the 3D chip if possible.
Can you check task manager when your trading is having problems and tell us what the problem is, e.g. is your CPU at 100%, or is the memory at capacity? If the trading software has forums, you might want to check if the software is effectively multithreaded (or not). I would be very surprised if your trading software did need more than 8x Zen 4 Cores, since that would be super demanding. The 7900X3D is a little slower in gaming than the 7800X3D, but if you really needed the cores then the CPU is alright, if you can find one at a good price. The 7950X3D is less of a compromise than the 7900X3D. I'd also be keen to wait on the release of 9000 series CPUs, if I were you.
yes this is a general idea of the build i want . i will be building a pc only in december / january . but according some testing amd showed in the meet with tech tubers/ journalist they compared the ryzen 9900x to a 5800x3d in gaming , does this imply that their 7800x3d beats 9900x in gaming ? . i remember seeing this in either kyles's youtube or nexus
