A tale of my adventure with Thunderbolt A journey through technology and discovery
I usually take great pride in my Google research, problem-solving skills, and tech expertise. However, I've encountered a new challenge. My system setup features an Intel gaming rig with a Z590 (Aorus Master), a 11700k processor, all standard components, plus a Thunderbolt card (GC Maple Ridge). A couple of laptops with Thunderbolt ports are also present for both work and play. The goal was to simplify connections between devices—especially switching between work and gaming modes. It functions well on the laptops but has issues with the desktop. I spent much time searching online, forums, and YouTube tutorials without success. The manuals from Gigabyte seem unreliable. Some suggestions suggest BIOS tweaks or device manager searches. Eventually, it turns out the Thunderbolt isn't detected during reboot. To fix this, either reconnect the cable or search for devices in Device Manager. Once resolved, everything works smoothly. Anyone with relevant experience could help?
