The Microsoft support portal, Outlook, and the Windows Store are exceptions, though I couldn't reach the software section in the Store.
Recently, while trying to launch Forza Horizon 4 after purchasing it on Steam, I encountered the same login issue on the Forza support site and Xbox support page.
