Across several PCs and operating systems, I've faced this problem where accessing many Microsoft sites becomes impossible. I've reached out to Microsoft support multiple times without receiving a resolution. For instance, when visiting https://account.microsoft.com/, they prompt for personal details before asking for the password, and this cycle repeats repeatedly. Other sites follow similar patterns. The Microsoft support portal, Outlook, and the Windows Store are exceptions, though I couldn't reach the software section in the Store.

Recently, while trying to launch Forza Horizon 4 after purchasing it on Steam, I encountered the same login issue on the Forza support site and Xbox support page. On the Xbox support chat, an "Xbox gamer expert" helped me reset my network settings—Settings → Network & Internet → Advanced network settings → Network reset → Reset now. This action restored access to all Microsoft websites I’d previously struggled with. Now I can open a support ticket for Forza Horizon 4 and begin troubleshooting the launch problem.

It’s surprising how even a major software company can have such frustrating technical glitches, especially when basic features like the taskbar are improved in Windows 11. Some of these issues seem to stem from outdated legacy problems. Thanks to the "Xbox gamer expert," I’m now confident resetting my network after a fresh install—something that shouldn’t be necessary.
