Gaming mode is always enabled to improve overall system performance. With an SSD, launching applications feels almost immediate, which was a big advantage in the past. Today, those small optimizations can actually slow things down. I also dislike how companies use software to justify their startup folder usage and hide updates behind vague excuses. My PC is my own device—not theirs. This is just another topic for conversation. Give gaming mode a try; it might make a noticeable difference, even if it’s not huge.

It wasn't a major issue in Windows 10, but on Windows 11 there are still ways to lower GPU usage. I'm currently overclocking via ASUS GPU Tweaks.

I also use Windows 11 and my 3080 was overvolted for improved performance. This adjustment provides the GPU with extra margin, leading to better overall speed and a modest boost in FPS. The 30 series cards were nearing their maximum boost, but overclocking only slightly increased speeds. The main improvements came from undervolting, enabling the card to stabilize and sustain higher performance more consistently. If you have time, watch Optimum Tech's undervolting video—it offers a clear and thorough explanation.

consider lowering the voltage on your 6750X and see how it performs. You mentioned hearing that 5700x works too, so you're open to trying different settings. Just keep an eye on stability and performance.

Undervolt can help, but it might not fix your stutter or low FPS problems. Please share more about what’s happening and check CPU, GPU, and RAM usage during those moments. Running many apps or Chrome tabs could use up memory, and VRAM might run out while playing games. Upgrading the CPU probably won’t solve the issue.
