Well as a kid, i remembered going to my friends house and playing this game, it was amazing. Bad thing is that i never used my console. Never had one and dont want one. My question is, is there any place i can buy the game and play it on my pc? I looked up and saw there was like a playstation program for pc. Can i buy it using that and play using an Xbox controller or would i need a play station controller

The PS3 emulator isn't powerful enough to run games smoothly yet. You can give it a shot, though. There are a few things to keep in mind: it will require some adjustments, it may not run at high speed, avoid viruses, it could work with an Xbox controller since many emulators support that, and the legal side is still unclear. Plus, getting the actual games might be tricky. If you buy a PS3 and a game separately, it could be simpler.

Are you referring to the original LPB or the highly entertaining Little Big Planet 2? I’ve enjoyed the game a lot since @Minibois mentioned the setup challenges with emulators, and the experience would be different without the custom maps and online play options.

Honestly, purchasing a used PS3 would probably be simpler.

I considered getting a PS4 Pro, but most of my gaming buddies use Xbox and I don’t want to spend $300 on something I’ll play just once a day. Plus, I’m not sure the emulator would run smoothly on my disc specs.

I don't have the exact details. I believe it might be the second one, but downloading it could affect performance.

You should look for a pawn shop, used game store, or flea market to purchase a PS3. Prices typically range from $60 to $100. I'm not comfortable with PS3 emulation; based on my experience, trying to recreate the PS1 era is so poor it's not worth the effort.

I believe the PS4 isn't backward compatible with PS3 titles, and that's unacceptable.
