i don't understand why, but one of my ram sticks matches the other since they came together as a pair. Only this one boosts to xmp while the other doesn't. Both are corsair vengeance lpx (2 x 8) 3200mhz 16cl. The ram stick that doesn't work functions properly in my brother's pc with xmp enabled. When I install both, it says profile 1 is set for xmp but it doesn't transfer to the desktop. I reset the CMOS and updated the motherboard drivers manually. They worked before, then something changed after a windows 10 update or when I switched to windows 11. Specs: corsair vengeance lpx (2 x 8) 3200mhz 16cl r5 2600x 1660super msi ventus aorus b450 elite v1
